Women With Wings

In 2020, Beth Ramirez was deep in her flight training when she noticed something: women in aviation often found themselves flying solo, not only in the cockpit, but in their journey. There weren’t enough spaces where women could find mentorship, community, and genuine encouragement.

So she built one.

Women With Wings was founded to change that. Whether you’re a student pilot, a seasoned CFI, a mechanic, or simply someone who dreams of the sky, you belong here. We support, recognize, and celebrate women at every stage of their aviation journey.

In July 2025, Kyathi Uyyala joined Women With Wings as a Director and has since worked alongside Beth to expand the organization’s reach and impact. Together, they are committed to building a stronger, more connected future for women in aviation.

Mentorship – We connect women who are new to aviation with experienced members who’ve been there. Whether you have questions about training, licensing, or breaking into the industry, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Community – Women With Wings is a network of women who lift each other up. From mechanics to student pilots to airline pilots, our members share experiences, advice, and encouragement every step of the way.

Ambassadorship – Our Ambassador Program gives passionate women a way to take action like spreading our mission through events, projects, and outreach so that every woman knows there’s a place for her in it.

Opportunities – We are dedicated to helping our members through scholarships and exclusive company tours. These opportunities provide hands on exposure and valuable connections within the aviation industry.
